Hard Drive (1/365)

Hard Drive (1/365)
So, I got bored tonight and decided it would be a great idea do disassemble a hard drive and take pictures of the pretty insides.

I also decided I wanted to try a 365 challenge, but we’ll see how long that lasts. A week maybe?

Looking at this image, I see it would be much stronger if it was stacked… I really need to learn to do that!

I also need to work on my flash technique. Hopefully starting a 365 challenge like this will help me not only practice, but get more creative.

This chip is inside a hard drive, on the side of the base of the arms. Those wires are going out to the heads.

Taken with my homeless camera lens, reversed in front of my camera.
